Welcome to Cheltenham District Woodcraft Folk

The Woodcraft Folk is "a movement for children and young people, open to everyone from birth to adult. We offer a place where children will grow in confidence, learn about the world and start to understand how to value our planet and each other."

We have three groups at present for boys and girls of different ages. Each group follows the national Woodcraft Folk aims to help our young members develop into confident and socially active individuals. We encourage this through group nights and through other activities we arrange throughout the year. Activities include cooperative games, arts and crafts, drama, environmental work, camping, - anything we feel will give our young members new experiences and new skills to help them on their way. We welcome parents to come along and join in and we encourage our young members to help plan and run the activities and events we take part in.

The three groups in Cheltenham are:

Kingfisher Elfins

This group is for children aged 6 to 9 years. Kingfisher Elfins meet at the Leckhampton Scout Hut on a Monday evening (5.45 to 7pm) during term time. You can find out more about the group on the Elfins page.

Howler Monkey Pioneers
