The purpose of this policy is to assist leaders, volunteers and young people participating in activities organised by the Cheltenham District of the
Woodcraft Folk, in ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and secure manner, that our young members are protected from harm and our
leaders and volunteers avoid misunderstandings and allegations of abuse.

The Woodcraft Folk prides itself upon being an “equal opportunities organisation”, that will do all it can to ensure it’s members get equal access to our many
and varied activities. This may be in the form of practical help or, in the case of genuine financial hardship, in the form of financial assistance.
Set out in this document is our policy on financial support in cases of genuine need.
